Fire KO's rockin' home
A vacant N. H. home where Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler used to jam was gutted by fire yesterday and investigators suspect arson.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the blaze and the state fire marshal told the Associated Press that a preliminary investigation showed the fire appears to have been set.
Tyler, who grew up in New Hampshire and still owns property in Sunapee, used to visit the house on Pleasant Pond in Warner to play music.

[Click on the cover for a bigger version...]
upcomingmovies says it will be released on "December 12th, 2000" while Amazon.com says "December 26th, 2000." Either way, you can pre-order the regular VHS, the Subtitled in Spanish VHS, or the DVD right now.
Both VHS titles are still the "Rental Price" which means like $100.00 though. But, the DVD is only like 14 bucks. So, I guess it will be available to rent on December 12th.
I believe Steven filmed his role in 1997 and he plays record producer David Foster...

Tom and Brad Rock For The Skinner House (AF1)
Tom and Brad picked up their bass and guitar for a children's benefit on Saturday, November 18 in an effort to raise funds to build Skinner House in South Hadley, MA, a music haven for children living with Williams Syndrome. Tom and Brad accompanied three individuals living with the condition on various Aerosmith tracks. The first performance was with a 40 year old female singer and accordion player who performed "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing;" the second was an instrumental jam session with a child drummer on "Sweet Emotion." The night ended with Tom, Brad and a young musician belting out "Come Together."
Aerosmith donated an autographed guitar towards the event's silent auction that earned $7,500 for the Skinner House. The Skinner House is conceptualized to be a multi-faceted program for children to learn about music and the arts. Williams Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that causes medical and developmental problems. Individuals with Williams Syndrome have a unique strength in their expressiveness and it was clearly displayed Saturday night as Tom and Brad had a great time with all for the Skinner House.

Dangerous Curves exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts
When you first go in, there is a collage of musician playing guitars. Joe's picture is there; I think it is from the "Cryin'" video. It is pretty big. Further through the exhibit is his guitar. At the end there is a big screen showing a video collection. They show a clip of Joe from a concert.

Joe Perry Article from The Boston Globe
PERRY PERTURBED BY LOCAL RADIO
Author: By Michael Saunders and Jim Sullivan
NAMES & FACES / BY MICHAEL SAUNDERS AND JIM SULLIVAN
Do not mistake Aerosmith's Joe Perry for anything but a happy man: lovely
wife, booming career, new album on the horizon. But he is not happy about the
state of Boston rock radio these days, not when it comes to Aerosmith being
heard on it.
Here's the deal, according to Perry: "Angel's Eye," the band's
new song from the "Charlie's Angels" soundtrack, is being played heavily on
rock stations all across the United States - everywhere, in fact, except in
Aerosmith's hometown. "Radio here is a backwater," said the guitarist, who
was at the MFA last weekend for the party celebrating (what else?) the
"Dangerous Curves" guitar exhibit.
"'BCN and 'AAF are not playing it." Perry
figures that's because Aerosmith, a band that's more than a quarter-century
old, doesn't fit the stations' concept of modern rock, active rock, or
alternative rock - those pesky subdivisions of music according to radio. The
song's at No. 6 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock tracks chart. "People don't
call it `alternative rock' out in the world," he says. Radio here, he says,
"is provincial, quaint."
As to the upcoming and as-yet-untitled album, Perry
says the bad boys are about to start mixing; they expect to hand it in in
January, release it in March, and begin touring in May. Perry and singer
Steven Tyler wrote and produced it with Mark Hudson and Marti Frederiksen.
"We couldn't stand the idea of working with another producer," Perry says,
"and making another record by the numbers. [This one is] reminiscent of the
old Aerosmith, but Steven never sang like this. We're either going down right
or going down. I'd rather do it this way."
The Band In LaLa Land (AF1)
Aerosmith recently visited Southern California as they were working on a couple of songs for their upcoming album in a Los Angeles studio!

Rolling Stone photo + quote
Here's the photo of Steven, Joe and Vincent Pastore, from the November 23
issue of Rolling Stone (#854)
As reported earlier, Steven and Joe were recently in New York completing a track for Mob Story: A Hip-Hopra with Vincent Pastore, formerly known as "Big Pussy" from the highly-acclaimed HBO series, The Sopranos. In the current issue of Rolling Stone (Issue 854 Drew Barrymore cover), Steven explains his involvement in the Jack Douglas work.
"I sing on a song called 'Breaking These Chains' - as opposed to [in faux Italian accent] 'Breaking My Balls' which is what Pussy wanted. I told him to shut up before he gets whacked…again."
Angel's Eye Helps Charlie's Angels Debut Billboard (AF1)
"Angel's Eye" and the Charlie's Angels soundtrack has made a grand entrance on Billboard capping off the #15 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart for issue date November 11, 2000! "Angel's Eye" also caused a rumble in the Mainstream Rock chart debuting at #6 (November 4 issue date) and is sure to rock steadily to the top!

Aerosmith on TV
Aerosmith were on VH1 1999 Behind the Music some days ago! There was one Small clip of the boys when
they were at the hospital with one of the colmbine victims and said that they took off there busy schedule to go spend time with the victims.
Then there was a thing on the Rockin Roller Coaster. They showed an interview with Steven about it and showed him and Joe on the Roller Coaster!
On VH1's 20 to 1 'Greatest Combacks' Aerosmith were #4
Angel's Eye in the Charlie's Angels movie
According to one guy who's seen the movie the song went perfect with the movie. They played the song twice. The first time they play it is during a scene where Cameron Diaz is in a race car chasing the "bad guy" and it lasts about a good 45 sec. The second time they play it is during a bad ass fighting scene which lasts about 25 sec.

In the picture Steven is holding a gun, biting on a cigar and wearing a t-shirt that says "Pussy is not Dead".
