Is it true that you will be performing when the next shuttle launches at Cape Canaveral?

AEROSMITH:

Joe: No, we are not going to perform, we are just going to watch.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: We don't like to work with anything that is louder than us.

Question:

hey, saw you guys in Virginia last week.......all I can say is, man, you guys are like fine wine.............how do you keep it up?

AEROSMITH:

Tom: With a popsicle stick. We don't think about how can we keep doing this or how did we ever do it so long. It's something that everyone else thinks about, but we don't.

Question:

Do you still feel young when you wake-up in the morning (afternoon)?

AEROSMITH:

Tom: Honestly, some things should be left unsaid. It's nobody's business what I feel in the morning.

AEROSMITH:

Joe: And I'd like to say hello to Tony, Roman and Billie!

Question:

Since Joe did a spot on Homicide (which was very good) will any more of you be making any appearances on any t.v. shows?

AEROSMITH:

Joey: Ton's doing a special guest on Pee Wee's Playhouse.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: That's just a nick name that I have for my underwear.

Question:

Where was your album "A little South of Sanity" recorded? Sandi M. Troy, MO

AEROSMITH:

Joey: It was recorded all over the United States, all over the World.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: I think ever song virtually was recorded in a different place.Some of it was in Japan, South America, Europe and some of it was in North America.

Question:

Hello guys, I have been following your guys around since 1975 and have been to 20 shows on the Nine Lives tour so far. I am wondering if in the future we will see another Aerosmith tour of this magnitude.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: I was wondering who was following me all of that time. And who knows, the people out there know really as well as we do, it's really up to them.

Question:

For the band, do you have any plans to release an album of previously unreleased tracks like "Bacon Biscuit Blues", "Lizard Love", "Sedona Sunrise", "Take it Easy", etc. I'd kill for a copy of Bacon Biscuit!!!

AEROSMITH:

Joe: We'll see. That music will definately get out there. We hope sooner than later.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: We're dying of curiosity to know how people know those titles!

Question:

Thanks for giving us this opportunity guys!! Just wondering how probable any club dates are? It would be a dream come true for us Aeroheads!! See ya next show Vanessa--Myrtle Beach, SC

AEROSMITH:

Tom: We haven't really thought about it. The momentum of the tour is just cranking along, and we are doing more dates than usual to replace the ones we lost this summer. So if a club thing happens, it's probably going to be spur of the moment.

Question:

Aerosmith has achieved so much success throughout the years, this band is more popular today than any band from the 70's, how do you guys handle all the pressure of being the most dynamic rock force this world has ever seen?

AEROSMITH:

Joe: We take the summer off.

Question:

Did you take lessons when you were young?

AEROSMITH:

Tom: I've heard a lot of descriptions of the band and that was probably the most profound.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: No, I wish I had when I was young.

AEROSMITH:

I actaully took lessons when I was less young than when I started to play the guitar.

Question:

What was your inspriation for the latest album and what was your inspiration for the song pink?

AEROSMITH:

Joe: We took inspiration from a lot of places for the Nine Lives Album. Working With Steven Ballard was really an inspiration and I think that Steven took a lot of inspiration for Pink from Miami.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: I think that Steven got the inspiration for Pink from one of life's most interesting locations.

Question:

This question is for the whole band: How did you decide to choose fuel to tour with you guys? And are you happy you asked them?

AEROSMITH:

Joe: We listened to their tape, and we liked it. And, yeah, we are.

Question:

Gotta tell you that you guys are the absolute best --- haven't missed a show since Permanent Vacation. Writing from NC --- Will there be more cd-extras? Will you be coming out with a Quest for Fame II?

AEROSMITH:

Tom: When they told us we needed fuel on the road we thought they meant for the buses

AEROSMITH:

Tom: We love doing multi-media stuff, that's why we are doing this webcast tonight. I don't think we have anything in mind right now, but we are always looking out for the next opportunity with that.

Question:

Aerosmith, What's the coolest place you've ever been to on tour? on your personal vacation?

AEROSMITH:

Tom: I thought it was great when we played Prague and Budapest. Those were places, that we group up never thinking that we'd playing those cities.

Is an aerosmith movie coming out?

AEROSMITH:

Joe: Haven't heard about one yet. We always hear rumors about someone wanting to do it, but haven't heard anything definate yet. But we'll continue to write the scripts.

Question:

do you ever get tired of traveling all time

AEROSMITH:

Tom: I guess that's one we have to think about. There's moments where you get kind of burnt out on it. I think you get used to it. I think that travelling on the road is something that we are getting pretty good at.

AEROSMITH:

Joe: It's hard being away from our families, but it's the only life we know. It's hard but we have to live with it.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: Maybe in the future we'll just do webcasts.

Question:

Alot of us on AOL have become friends and plan road trips to see you..we go fairly long distances and alot of us have been to more than 5 shows...how does that make you feel to know you have such a strong following?

AEROSMITH:

Joey: It makes us feel really good. You know, you fans are really supportive of us and do a lot of things for us. And that's why we make a lot of thing available to them. And I'd like to say a special thanks to all of our fans when I had my car fire, I received a lot of support through cards and flowers, and I am very appreciative of that, and I'd like to let everyone know that again.

Question:

Any hints as to what's in store New Years Eve??? Last year was intense!

AEROSMITH:

Tom: We're calling it the Fireball. We're detemined to make last year's look like the familt picnic. We're just going to hang Joey's car from the ceiling at let people use it for a pinata.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: Now everyone should watch the webcast on www.aerosmith.com at 9:00pm ET, because Joey's promised to pull his pants down.

AEROSMITH:

Joe: The sound for that webcast is mixed by Jack Douglas and the camera will be edited by the fans...7 cameras. The fans will be able to chose which cameras are on at any given time, and 5 of the cameras are on our bodies.

AEROSMITH:

Tom: Not including Pee Wee's Playhouse.

AEROSMITH:
